Boats at Himley
With a small sailing area, the club restricts choice of boats to monohulls no more than fifteen feet in length, and must have a Portsmouth Yardstick. The club have a varied race program with both weekly series, and one day events.
The boats that you will currently find sailing here are mostly Lasers, Mirrors, Toppers, and Enterprises. The club does have members with other classes of boat, including Signets, GP14s, Gulls, a Merlin Rocket and a few others. We also operate a Wayferer fleet, but only for our training courses.
