This is Himley Hall Sailing Club

Here are just a few pictures that give a feel for the unique setting of HHSC and our facilities. We are based in the grounds of Himley Hall, the historic home of the Earls of Dudley and our clubhouse and classroom are based in the Earl's thatched boathouse. For the historically minded, the boathouse is where the future Edward VIII began his courtship of Wallis Simpson which was to lead to hi abdication in 1937.

Himley Hall Lifeboat

In 1987 an Atlantic 21 Inshore Lifeboat was named Himley Hall in recognition of the funds raised by HHSC. These pictures are from the dedication day and also show the name plate from the boat that was presented to Dorothy and Mike Willetts by the RLNI on their 50th Wedding Anniversary
